Implementation of the Refrigerant Management Plan : Monitoring of the Activities Included in the Refrigerant Management Plan (RMP)

The main objective of the project is to carry out the monitoring activities listed in the Refrigerant Management Plan (RMP). The project will monitor the activities indicated in the RMP and ensure that CFC-12 is recovered and recycled according to the Recovery and Recycling Project. After completion of the project it is expected that 11.6 ODP Tonnes of CFC-12 will be phased out per year.

Training Programme on Good Practices in Refrigeration

The main objective of the training project is to reduce CFC emission and consumption in the refrigeration sector by improving the servicing procedures of the refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment. Under Phase-I, a group of selected local trainers and senior technicians will be trained by an international consultant and under Phase-II, technicians engaged in the refrigeration servicing sector will be trained by local trainers already trained under Phase I of the project.
